Currently, keeping the screen awake requires third-party apps. Since the user often needs to reference the current scale chart, it’s inconvenient when the screen turns off mid-session, requiring constant unlocking.

When switching positions, show a hint where we're moving. For example, if we are moving from the the 3rd fret to the 7th, display a right arror to inform the user about the shift direction. It would be particularly cool to temporarily expand the fretboard and highlight the next position.

Over time, as the user continues to practice, delete a few notes from the fretboard, so it makes the user remember where the note was and helps memorize positions.

Connect to a user's microphone to listen to them playing. Highlight which note they are currently playing (e.g. in green if hit the right note and red if the wrong one). Give a score and display things like “you are on fire” when a user hits all the notes right and makes no mistakes.

Allow users to submit their own backing tracks for a specific key and scale.
